Adventure Sports Lodge Program
Our programs allow guests to receive personal attention from world-class guides.
Our signature horseback trip from Purisima Creek Redwood Preserve over the Coastal Range to Woodside is an unforgettable all-day adventure.
Sea kayakers and paddle boarders start in Princeton Harbor paddling to the western-most spot in the mainland U.S. and home to our legendary wave, Maverick’s.

Cyclists can ride through the redwoods or cycle inland roads with coastal views to visit the historic San Gregorio Store or the charming town of Pescadero. Evenings feature a sauna or a soak in our hot tub, tall tales ’round the campfire, and movies. Indigenous owls and coyotes create a soundscape for unobstructed starry skies at the ranch.

Kick Back Or Push The Envelope
Come as a group of friends, family, or coworkers. With our partners, Chaparral Ranch, Half Moon Bay Kayak and the Woodside Bike Shop we customize single or multi-sport lodge programs that include horseback riding, sea kayaking, cycling and guided nature hikes. For corporate retreats, we often add an adventure component.
We have a team to ensure the success of your visit: a trip leader to coordinate, direct and manage each program, and a specialized guide to lead each adventure day. Our cook team offers a menu focused on local specialties and fresh, healthy ingredients. Our meals include country breakfasts, barbecues and Dutch oven campfire recipes, with signature arugula cocktails and prickly pear margaritas!
An Inspiring Experience

A multi-sport “Northern California Sampler” program might start with guided hikes into the virgin Redwood preserves and a visit to the 1200-year-old Hobbit Tree. Over several days, combine equine day trips with ocean or cycling sports, trails dating back to the ancient Ohlones, and a visit to the Año Nuevo elephant seals preserve. Our promise is an unforgettable time against a backdrop of rolling coastal hills and ocean vistas.
