Share the Secrets that Locals Keep

Walk our own trail to Tunitas Creek Lookout for an extraordinary 360-degree view of the area. It’s only about 15 minutes to get here out the door and you can see clear down to Tunitas Creek Beach to the West and a stunning view of the coastal hills to the South. To the East is Skyline, the imposing range that provides the backbone of the San Francisco Peninsula. It’s amazing to see the Redwood forests that call our location home and then to think that just over the hill is the town of Woodside and Stanford University.

Check out the town of Half Moon Bay – sample local food from historical grocery and general stores, visit antique and craft shops, and the weekly Farmers Market.

Walk the coastal trail, the old Devil’s Slide Highway, now a breathtaking walking trail with views of the now defunct Oceanshore Railway on the cliffs and palisades above the Pacific.

Walk along Lobitos Creek Rd. for 1 mile to the West and you will enjoy the classic uninterrupted view of the sun setting on the Pacific. There is a great lookout spot so packing a bottle of wine and picnic basket to watch the end of an amazing day is something our guests enjoy doing. Visit an artist’s workshop and studio on our property. Drive the winding Hwy 92 past the flower, Christmas tree and pumpkin farms.

The best sandwich in town has been found at the San Benito House where they make fresh baked old world bread.

Go for a hike along in the Purisima Creek Redwood Reserve, climbing to vistas from which you’ll spot the town and the sea.
